Anything that breaks them apart and hurts them (especially when it comes from within) I'm all for. I'll take it however I can get it. And well - King did admit his party was to blame for the Government Shut down.

King a total fascists and a raving lunatic himself, should look in the mirror. Pot meet kettle. He has certainly done plenty of fomenting paranoia and hysteria during his tenure, and to the extreme.

The faux squabbles being cited as existing within the repuglican party (i refuse to refer to them as the "GOP", there isn't anything "grand" about them except for the level of bullshit they spew day after day, year after year) is a hyped up charade the Korporate invented for their own purposes - because they're too lazy to do real news & serious analysis - unfortunately the so called squabbles get more partisan ratings, which only feeds into the notion that the Dems are in a stronger position for 2014. On the other hand, the Korporate Media will be certain to make it appear the Dems seem as week as the Repugs, in order to keep the horserace "exciting".

In the meantime, let's have pretend fights within the party to give cable more ratings, thereby legitimizing the bullshit they broadcast hour after hour, day after day.

It's a fitting label for all on the right

as they do everything they can to protect the 1% or the 53%

however you want to look at it

Paranoia is not a label that fits Democrats

So King's rant is a good thing indeed

which Paul wants to kick to the curb. I don't agree with Peter King very often but he is taking a stand against the radical wing of the GOP. The TP and libertarian party does not have the numbers to win on their own mostly because of radical thinking so they are attempting to hold the GOP hostage to get their people elected.

Trying to twist the subversion of this country into a surveillance state into a partisan issue is about as low as the corporate propagandists can go.

There's an easy solution to the Third Way obsession with fringe Libertarians.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=4265487

Third Way Democrats would not have to worry about fringe Libertarians at all if they would crawl out of their corporate Masters' pockets for long enough to own the issues they SHOULD own.

The fact that King, one of the biggest corporate shills and serial liar, is for the NSA spying underscores the problem with the NSA.
Crazy ass Rand Paul being on the right side of this issue may seem surprising, but it will only last as long as the Koch Brothers leash.

He's worried about Republicans stoking paranoia, is he?

By the way, I happen to agree with Senator Paul on this matter. I even think Clapper belongs in the slammer (although I don't think Mr. Snowden does). No NSA abuse, Mr. King? Every time the NSA gathers intelligence on American citizens without a warrant, that is an abuse.

Senator Paul is a broken clock who has found one of the two times a day he is right. We're still waiting for Mr. King to find one of his.

But Rand Paul is just cynically using the issue as a way to take shots at Democrats the Obama administration for his own benefit.

Either way, I'm glad that the Repugs are wasting their energy fighting each other...since we all know they would otherwise use it to fight the common good of America.
