Sarah Palin back at Fox News
Source: AP
Sarah Palin is rejoining Fox News Channel.
The network said Thursday that the former Republican vice presidential candidate has signed on as a contributor to Fox and the Fox Business Network. Her first appearance is scheduled for Monday on the "Fox & Friends" morning show _ on the same day CNN is premiering a morning show to great fanfare.
Fox and Palin parted ways in January after she had worked there for three years as a contributor. They had talked about renewing their contract, but it didn't happen. Money may have been a factor: Palin was signed for a reported $1 million a year when she originally joined Fox less than two years after being John McCain's running mate.

(966 posts)Some are very happy, some are hoping she will run in 2016, and there was one bizarre claim about it being hush money for the "amnesty" bill to get through Congress.

(16,993 posts)To go on TV and talk about things she knows nothing about, mispronounce words, create words that don't exist anywhere except in her tiny little mind, complain and condemn what others do while members of her own family do the same thing, and generally make a fool out of herself?
It seems a bit ridiculous even for Faux News, but in their Alice in Wonderland world, anything goes.

(8,377 posts)I assume that reality teevee thingie ran out on her. She probably needs the money. They probably got her for a whole lot less than $1M.
Plus she needs some face time somewhere on the tube to try to remain somewhere in the RW consciousness.

The financial implications of unwed teenage motherhood?
Did she ever meet a payroll?
Can she do stock analysis, or technical charting?
Can she spell "Fed"?
Does she know oil spills are toxic?
There are just too many things that could go wrong with this, it's
going to be a Faux ratings implosion.
Will Cabutto be able to stop giggling at her?
