killing someone is caused by alcohol. They are both caused by the criminal intent of an individual.

Or did the shooter decide to kill someone, then pick up a weapon? If a gun had not been available would nobody be dead?

If that’s not what you want why the fuck do you have them? There is nothing else that can be done with them.

There are many thing which can and are done with them..sport and competitive shooting, hunting, etc. They are also used defensively by would-be victims of criminals and offensively by police

Oh, and you didn't answer the question...."If a gun had not been available would nobody be dead?"

If you want sports, run, pick up a ball, get on a bicycle, exercise something besides your finger.

No one would be dead without those guns. Over 20 children would be home sleeping in their beds tonight not for guns, but their lives inconsequential as long as you have evil weapons that make you feel tough. Children mean nothing compared to your hobby. So today is another victory for the NRA. More tiny coffins, more profits, more blood. And yes, YOU are responsible. Every time you advance your selfish and diabolical gun rights you enable more mass murder. Enjoy your victories. You've earned them.

Really? I though this thread was about a shooting in a casino? Again, would the man in the casino be dead if a gun was not available to the killer? Could the killer have used almost any implement if he wanted the man dead?

And you support people with emotional problems being unable to get mental health care? No of coarse not, point fingers of disdain and watch as no meaningful discussion follows. Act as though you are the only one who's opinion matters and fail to see.

I haven't "snarked" anyone. Just keeping it real while others are running through the streets with their hair afire claiming all kinds of demonstrably false nonsense.

Quite obviously. That young man could have sat is his room thinking about mass murder for thirty years, but without a guns he had no way to carry that out.
