A major spring storm brought heavy snow, rain and high winds to the Northeast late Wednesday and Thursday, causing more than 680,000 power outages across the region with the majority in Maine and New Hampshire. A woman was reported killed by a falling tree in a New York City suburb.

The system slowly has been moving northeast over the last few days.

Here in western PA, areas here south of I80 have been under flood watches and warnings since Monday. My county has many roads closed in the usual places prone to flooding. On the plus side, some of the reservoirs that had dropped due to drought had their water levels rise.

Much better than the alternative, but I didn't get particularly good sleep from the noise.

We got insane winds but only 1-2" of heavy, wet snow.
