Maryanne Trump Barry, a former federal judge who was an older sister of Donald J. Trump and served as both his protector and critic throughout their lives, has died. She was 86.

Ms. Barry died at her home on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, according to two people familiar with the matter. One of them said she had been found early Monday morning. Neither person specified a cause.

The article points out her rulings against a ban on late term abortions in NJ, in favor of a Gambian refugee (where she excoriated the magistrate who questioned the refugee's application for asylum) and against freeing two detectives who allegedly protected a drug dealer. She seems to have been somewhat of a feminist (of the Barry Goldwater / Sandra Day O'Connor mold) who celebrated women's progress in society.

And the recordings of her slashing Donald to bits are extremely satisfying. She definitely had his number. She knew her brother is an asshole.

I'm not ready to dance on her grave.

But..I am dusting off my dancing shoes for when the Orange Asshole ® finally transitions to the great beyond. I may even take tap lessons for that glorious day.
