Biden touts union support in battleground Minnesota as early voting begins

Joe Biden used a speech in Minnesota’s Iron Range on Friday to rip President Donald Trump as a “selfish” leader who “has no clue how to be president,” while touting his own pro-worker credentials as early voting in the midwestern battleground state kicked off.

Biden, speaking at a carpenter training center outside Duluth, touted the support he’s earned from labor unions, and hammered on the cultural differences between his background and Trump’s.

“This campaign is between Scranton and Park Avenue,” he said, referring to the city in Pennsylvania where he was born and the location of a Trump-owned luxury apartment building in Manhattan.

“It’s about time we rewarded work, not wealth,” Biden said.

1. I watched..

As a retired union member..this sounds like what happened in our history before...2020 update. American made products, American labor. We have many projects that changed our country..the interstate projects. Dams. We need to upgrade our infrastructure that in some places is over a hundred years old.. not just roads. Sewage systems, railroads, the grid. Underground utilities could be a savior for not only hurricane prone states. Our bridges are in urgent need of updating. His ideas, if put into place, could bring good jobs with, IMO..keeping out the unhonorable scammers..an oversight review that makes sure our taxpayers are not getting ripped. I’m a dreamer. I admit it. I am also of the belief it can be done.
