Multiple protesters shot in Kenosha during third night of unrest over Jacob Blake's shooting

KENOSHA, Wis. — Gunfire rang out from a crowd of protesters early Wednesday morning in Kenosha, Wis., on the third night of unrest over the police shooting of Jacob Blake Jr. At least three people were injured. It is unclear who fired the shots, and police and hospital officials have not yet confirmed the severity of the injuries.

Shots were first fired after midnight, as a group of protesters on Sheridan Road faced off with police in armored trucks. A young White man carrying an AR-15-style rifle began running north on Sheridan, away from the group. As people chased after the man, another round of rapid-fire shots rang out, and two more people fell to the ground with wounds. Bystanders dragged both the people who had been hit to separate sides of the road.

9. Really confusing situation trying to piece together all the various videos to get a sense of

a timeline and who is who. The only thing that is clear to me at this moment, is that if these people left their guns at home then this wouldn't have happened.

It's weird because there was a libertarian group who was talking with the BLM group and marching together or something. Seen that playout a few times over the last couple months because of the somewhat similar, but superficial, stance on the police. Then there is another video from a bit later in which there is some conflict between the two groups. There was one guy (bald guy in red shirt) in particular who was the focus of the video, because he seemed upset with one of the libertarian guys. I think maybe one of them pointed his rifle at him. I don't know, I didn't get anything concrete. Not sure exactly what the conflict was about, but there were people from both "sides" trying to calm things down. Then at some point after that, there is a video of gunshots and the bald guy in the red shirt dying after being shot in the head (I think he died, I could be wrong. I didn't look good) Then there was a video of one of the libertarian guys running down the street with people chasing him saying he was the shooter. Conflicting information if he was the actual shooter or not. But eventually it lead to the video post above in which he trips, or they catch up to him, and that is when he shoot several of them.

At least that is what I have managed to gather from various sources. I could be totally off of missing something. Either way, idiots needs to keep their guns at home.

After the shooting, he told the Times that the bloodshed validated his concerns about the heavily armed civilians.

Beth said the shooter had not been arrested but said he was 'confident we'll have him in a very short time' based on video footage seen by police.

The investigation of the latest shooting is being conducted by the Kenosha Police Department with the assistance of the FBI, Beth said.

At least one of the videos showed the shooter, after being knocked to the ground and firing more shots, approaching nearby police vehicles with his hands in the air to apparently surrender. Onlookers were also yelling to the police that he had shot people! (Then that video stopped, as far as I saw.)

How could he possibly escape after that?!!!!!

I later read the reports that he was never arrested! Despite onlookers in that video yelling that he was the shooter!
