Justice Democrats candidate accused of inappropriate sexual behavior
Source: Politico
Three groups of college Democrats in Massachusetts disinvited left-wing congressional primary challenger and Holyoke Mayor Alex Morse from all future events alleging that he showed a pattern of using his platform and taking advantage of his position of power for romantic or sexual gain, specifically toward young students.
The email, sent on Thursday and signed by College Democrats of Massachusetts, U-Mass.-Amherst Democrats, and Amherst College Democrats alleged that Morse, who is challenging House Ways and Means Chairman Richie Neal, had sexual contact with students at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, where he is a lecturer on political science.
Numerous incidents over the course of several years have shown that it is no longer appropriate to encourage interaction between College Democrats and Alex Morse, they wrote.
In a letter sent back to the groups on Thursday and obtained by POLITICO, Morse wrote, I want to be clear that every relationship Ive had has been consensual. However, I also recognize that I have to be cognizant of my position of power. He continued: Navigating life as both a young gay man and an elected official can be difficult, but that doesnt excuse poor judgment.

(67,782 posts)....statements over the years. Based on what he's espoused in the past, that word fits. You can Google the things he said over the years.
The other founder, Kyle Kulinski, was forced out because he sided with Uygur's questionable comments and positions.
Other than videos and in right wing sources like Daily Caller, etc., there are no articles about some of what he said, but here's a NY Times article about Sanders withdrawing his endorsement of Uygur because of his offensive comments:
https://www.nytimes.com/2019/12/13/us/politics/bernie-sanders-cenk-uygur.html
Mr. Sanders had said Mr. Uygur was a voice we desperately need in Congress. But many Democrats condemned the endorsement, citing Mr. Uygurs history of offensive comments.
LOS ANGELES Can an endorsement be put back in the bottle?
On Thursday, Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont endorsed Cenk Uygur, a progressive talk show host running for a California congressional seat who has a history of making offensive comments about women, Jews, Muslims and other groups. But he withdrew the endorsement a day later, after facing considerable backlash for his decision, and after Mr. Uygur made an announcement of his own: He was no longer accepting endorsements of any kind.

(11,589 posts)Can we take out the blatant idea to blame a segment of our party?
I am unsure about the 'Justice Democrats' -- that Young Turks guy is why.
This is 2020, and should never be acceptable.
Politico wants to play games with caucus'.
