SEALs investigating event at museum where man in Kaepernick jersey attacked by dogs
Source: ABC News
The U.S. Navy SEALS have announced an investigation into a video showing a man wearing a Colin Kaepernick jersey being attacked by dogs at a demonstration at a Florida museum with links to several former SEALs.
The first video shows a man in protective clothing and a Kaepernick jersey being bitten by SEAL attack dogs as part of a demonstration in front of a crowd of spectators.
Another video of the same event shows men in military clothing performing a mock capture of the man after the dogs have been removed. As he lies on the ground, he says Oh man, Ill stand, eliciting laughter from the watching crowd.
The videos were originally shared on Instagram in January 2020, but went viral in the first weekend of August.

"The first video shows a man in protective clothing and a Kaepernick jersey being bitten by SEAL attack dogs as part of a demonstration in front of a crowd of spectators."
The leaders of this PR event made some seriously bad choices which brings into question their ability to make sound decisions and reasonable judgement under combat conditions.
They politicized the public demonstration by inserting their own personal partisan beliefs in making a target of Kaepernick as he was a convenient Republican target frequently demonized by Trump.
They forgot their oaths of service. They forgot their purpose to safeguard us, ALL of us, The People of the country they fight for. Instead they implied that half the country, specifically everyone left of Trump, is now their enemy and will be attacked merely for using their constitutional right to free speech.
Why didn't anyone in that group see that using a fake Kaepernick in costume as a target for a dog attack was demonizing one of the largest social protest movements in our history?
They didn't even consider there would be any blowback, likely because that is the acceptable norm in their culture. They also forgot that they are supposedly fighting to preserve our freedoms... Everyone's freedom, to speak and protest at will.
I hope their internal investigation hands out somewhat more than a miniscule loss of pay to those who approved this farce.
