“I am happy to inform all of the people living their Suburban Lifestyle Dream that you will no longer be bothered or financially hurt by having low income housing built in your neighborhood,” Trump tweeted Wednesday.
Earlier this month, the Trump administration replaced an Obama-era fair housing rule with its own rule, dubbed “Preserving Community and Neighborhood Choice.”
The tweets mark an escalation of Trump’s campaign strategy of trying to stoke fear in suburban voters of poor urban residents, who are overwhelmingly people of color.

14. Well, in reality, a lot of suburbs don't have a heck of a lot of low income housing. Most such ...

neighborhoods wouldn't let such housing be built anyways (residents had that "not in my neighborhood" mentality) thus most low income housing had to be build anyways in bigger cities where they could get such housing more easily approved.

The biggest negative impact of this was that former older residents of these very same suburbs had to move out because they could no longer afford to live in their neighborhoods any longer, and thus had to move out into lower priced neighborhoods.

These were decent, good, law abiding senior citizens being priced out of these suburban neighborhoods, not the 'riff raff' that rump is making it out to be. These are the grandmas and grandpas that no longer could to afford to live in their old communities/suburbs.
