Biden photographed with Kamala Harris talking points as running mate speculation grows

Source: CNN

Presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden on Tuesday was photographed holding handwritten notes with Sen. Kamala Harris' name at the top along with a set of talking points about her, fueling fresh speculation about the California Democrat's standing as a vice presidential running mate.

The notes, which were photographed at a speech in Wilmington, Delaware, feature Harris' name followed by five talking points: "Do not hold grudges," "Campaigned with me & Jill," "Talented," "Great help to campaign" and "Great respect for her."

The Biden campaign declined to comment to CNN on Tuesday night.

where people speculate about who a candidate's VP will be. It is kind of fun and generates a lot of free publicity and media buzz for the candidate. Because of the coronavirus, Joe can't be out on the campaign trail, so all this talk about his VP choice is a good way to keep him in the news, which is usually dominated by Trump.

Joe could handle that without notes. The fact she is listed at the top with several talking points indicates Biden and his team wanted to make sure his response about his future VP was clear and positive.

This is especially true because the first point is no grudges. That might be a final point, but it would be a terrible first point. The first points should be on her -whoever she is - positives.

If Chris Dodd did actually speak of this, it says he is a terrible choice to lead an effort that should have respected all those vetted. This in addition to his known problems.

But - being a tarot reader and doing readings on the past couple elections, I think I'll do a reading on this tonight. If anyone is interested, I'll post the results of the reading.

If you have any questions specific to this topic , post here and I may answer a couple.

Just to lighten the mood...It probably isn't the best timing with all the ridicule about the mentally ill woman who is ranting about alien dna, etc., but in all actuality, I have been reading the tarot for about 50 years and have been psychic all my life. It is just part of who I am - doesn't make me a quack, liar, etc. - it is just a type of gift I have and actually - it is in my family line back many many generations (several native american medicine men/women/Shaman's) and my granddaughter has it as well. So - take it as you will and for legal purposes "for entertainment only". Let's have a bit of fun.

50. Question #1, #2
Sun Aug 2, 2020, 02:06 PM
Aug 2020

#1: What is the potential outcome of 45 winning the presidential election of 2020?

Cards say: This contract will not be renewed. We will see a new beginning after FOUR years of unrest (2 of the 5 cards I pulled were 4's).

#2: What is the potential for him leaving office with dignity?

Cards say: This is interesting. He is looking at his future as being bleak. What "fed" him for this term is going to shrivel and dry up and he knows this. He has several areas that he has great fear of facing and it looks like his subconscious is already creating nightmares about the possible scenarios that he will be facing when he no longer has the protection of the office (he is fighting his own internal demons). He is very much looking forward to moving back to his home, but it looks like there will be much turmoil, no matter where he goes. Great emotional unbalance, ill health. Because he focuses so much on negativity, this is what he is manifesting. It does not look like the potential is good for him to live out the rest of his days successfully. A woman with dark hair (dark brown, auburn) will be the one who gets him to leave without a scene, he will listen to her. It's far more likely that he will spend most of his time in the home near the beach rather than in the city.

About her trying to prosecute mothers whose school age children were not attending school for various reasons. I’m just saying she’s probably my least favorite choice for vp. If she were the one that is chosen I would have no problem to vote for her. But I guess whoever is the vice presidential pick they will dig up or manufacture whatever dirt they can. Sorry, i didn’t know I’m not allowed a negative opinion about her. That the “accidental” visibility of the notes was to elicit responses.

I am happy with a used pair of sneakers for VP. They would still be better than Pence.

The “Leaked” picture is a good way to get some free polling on the public’s opinion right now.

I don’t seem to be as enamored with Kamala as other others are. Besides the used Sketchers, I would be thrilled with Rice, Bass and Warren.

But, as I said, I’m fine all around and will be voting for my life come November 3rd!

I'm afraid Rice's son could be a liability. Of course, I'm sure republicans will recycle all the Benghazi garbage again, even though Rice did nothing wrong. They never let anything go.

Also I think Harris has a better personality for a running mate, a little more open and outgoing. If Rice doesn't get the nomination, I'm quite sure she'll have a prominent spot in a Biden cabinet. Secretary of State perhaps?

A way for the hand-wringers find a way to accept reality... and to get all the angst out of their system in advance. That way the anger and pouting can be mostly done and over with by the time we head into the final stretch of the campaign.

There will, of course, be a certain group of individuals who'll say "supportive" things about her... such as: "I'd be happy with a used pair of sneakers for VP." Of course this is an ugly and backhanded way of insulting Kamala Harris by insinuating that used Sketchers are equally qualified by virtue of the fact that they're better than Pence. Or perhaps the suggestion is that Harris will be acceptable only because she's "better than Pence."

Jesus. I'm so sick of this shit.

The big reveal is all the more exciting if it is a surprise, and the way to make it so is to leak something like this about one candidate (with her knowledge and permission) and then announce a different one the next day.

I feel like this kind of thing has been done before, not so long ago, but I can't put my finger on it.
