CHICAGO - Hundreds of protesters gathered in Logan Square Thursday night outside the home of Mayor Lori Lightfoot.

The protesters were demanding the Chicago Police Department be defunded. They also wanted justice for 18-year-old activist Miracle Boyd, who was allegedly punched by a Chicago police officer last week as demonstrators and cops clashed near the Christopher Columbus statue in Grant Park.

Of course, it's a Fox affiliate, so I'm taking their (repeated over and over, with no actual evidence thereof) assertion that the main message of the group was 'defund the police' ... with a proverbial grain of NaCl.

Seen in Portland. They will be identified with badges and work with the city police. She also said she knows and trust the federal person she spoke with.

She made it very clear that dotard’s goons would not be roaming the city streets as in Portland. And, if that happens she would be in court immediately. Dotard is spinning his lies to hurt her and make it look as thou he wore down a strong woman mayor of a major liberal city...he did not! Don’t bite on it..
