Joe Biden wins presidential primaries in New Jersey and Delaware

Source: AP

Former Vice President Joe Biden has won New Jersey’s mostly mail-in Democratic presidential primary and after his third run for the White House, Joe Biden has finally won a presidential primary in his home state.

Biden, the last man standing from a Democratic field that once numbered more than 24 candidates, won Delaware's Democratic presidential primary on Tuesday, beating Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

Sanders and Warren both suspended their campaigns months ago but their names remained on Tuesday's ballot because they did not officially withdraw as candidates in Delaware by the March 6 deadline. Warren suspended her campaign just one day before the deadline, while Sanders didn't stop campaigning until April.

Pete Buttigieg and Tom Steyer also had filed for Delaware's primary but withdrew their names in early March.

All the way into August. Well, it's not like we don't know how those will turn out at the top though I'm sure there are so important races yet to be decided down ticket in all of them.

to these Democratic primaries since then.

I was a Bernie and/or Liz supporter early on (I liked Joe) - but it's easy to see Dems made the right pick with Biden.

Cheeto's only hope now, is using the House election gambit. And you can bet the Fat Bastard will try.

I was surprised to hear how so many callers to our public radio station did the same. Caller after caller after caller said they voted for Bernie.

Bernie and Liz votes are still Democratic votes.

Unity is not uniformity.

but in all fairness, I wasn't the person making statements about every person that she knows, or every caller on public radio. Seems like a lot of uniformity in those statements along with the possible "not listening" since any new friends might be boring unless they resonate on a predetermined frequency.

My experiences with the people from your fair state were primarily on a professional basis.

So you relayed anecdotal information that your friends and the callers on public radio were Bernie supporters on a thread about Biden winning the primary. Good for them, but apparently those friends and participants on public radio are not representative of the electorate in New Jersey. Some may call those members of "the machine" conventional; meanwhile, others will call them the majority.

I simply didn't read their post that way. Seemed like an assertion of fact, no matter how it could be interpreted, in all fairness.

I'm just saying that we needn't redo primary conversations, is all, since at this point, most comments about votes for Bernie and Liz are moot, in the big picture.

And, then when Biden's Launch Vid came out on April 25, 2019.. I was certain.. what a ride it's been!

It's been great having you and everyone here as fellow travelers on this incredible ride!
