Former GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain hospitalized with Covid-19

Source: CNBC

Cain, 74, was told Monday that he had tested positive for the disease, according to a statement posted to his official Twitter account. By Wednesday, he "had developed symptoms serious enough that he required hospitalization," the statement said.

Last month, Cain attended Trump's much-hyped rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which was billed to be the kickoff event for the president's reelection bid after the coronavirus pandemic forced him off the campaign trail for months.

to find a primary care physician who accepts patients on Medicare. My doctor accepts me only because I was his patient before I went on Medicare so I am grandfathered. But he does not accept new patients on Medicare. So yes I do remember but what I remember is not so good.

accept it at some level, but maybe only for inpatients, or (in this case) pre-existing patients. Hospital affiliated practices are in a different boat, but for private physicians they usually want to limit the number of Medicare patients -- they generally pay less (sometimes significantly) than private insurance.

Not. Don't know if he's made any public announcements, but if he's been going around unmasked and attending things like the rally in Tulsa, he shouldn't be the least bit surprised.

It's still unfathomable to me that Trump hasn't already come down with it. Give him time, I suppose.

The event fizzled, but probably not before infecting at least 1,000 MAGATs, including Cain. And, thanks to their dirty habits, the MAGATs will spread the virus like they spread hate. Everywhere.

I saw a large number of adults gathered close together, without masks, as they yelled and cheered yesterday for kids playing soccer and baseball on various fields at a nearby recreation center.

They're asking for it too. They were outside, of course, but jammed together like the virus doesn't exist. Freakin' unbelievable! And the cases were already spiking in this county of SW Ohio!

Maybe tourists?

The non-reaction to the virus by so many Americans really blows my mind.

I wonder if this is why Pence is suddenly promoting Mask wearing?

I also wonder how may more from the "VIP" section have either already tested positive, or are waiting for their results. Everyone in the photo above is at risk having been indoors and close to someone positive for hours hooting and hollering for good ole Trump.
