Trump shares video of white couple pointing guns at protesters in St. Louis

President Trump on Monday shared a video on Twitter of a white couple pointing firearms at a group of protesters in St. Louis who were marching to the mayor's residence to demand her resignation.

The 30-second clip, which was posted on Twitter by ABC News, showed a man and woman holding weapons as a number of demonstrators walked by about 20 yards away. The couple was standing outside their home in the upscale Central West End neighborhood of St. Louis, according to The Guardian.

The footage shows an unidentified man yelling and pointing a rifle at the protesters, many of whom were recording the scene on their cellphones. A chant of "let's go" could be heard in the background as a number of protesters walked past the couple's home.

The incident in St. Louis came amid continued unrest across the U.S. as protests over racial injustice and police brutality have swept the nation following the May 25 death of George Floyd in Minneapolis police custody.

...Lyda Krewson is a woman AND a Democrat! Why are Chump and the Chumpettes defending her? Why is Chump trying to start a race riot in Saint Louis?

None of this makes sense until you realize that Chump's racism beats politics and (I guess in this case) sexism. Lyda Krewson went on a live blog and named demonstrators (with names and addresses no less) and many are people of color living in Saint Louis. It just happened on Saturday and caused a controversy, including many Democrats calling for her resignation. That blog was deleted but not before it made the rounds and went viral. The doxxed protesters are extremely scared because of the white privileged people that are walking around with guns, just like this couple.

Of course Chump is doing everything to call attention, just hoping the race war will start real soon and take the spotlight off his disastrous poll numbers.

Their defenders are pointing out they live in a gated community and therefore the protesters were trespassing just by being there. This assumes that someone who lives in the gated community didn't give them the OK. It also assumes that gated communities are lawful, if these streets are paid for with money from the city or if anything is maintained with taxpayer money in that community, the homeowners there do not have a right to keep the public out.
