Showing Strength With White Voters, Biden Builds Lead in Battleground States
Source: New York Times
President Trump has lost significant ground in the six battleground states that clinched his Electoral College victory in 2016, according to New York Times/Siena College surveys, with Joseph R. Biden Jr. opening double-digit leads in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
Mr. Trumps once-commanding advantage among white voters has nearly vanished, a development that would all but preclude the presidents re-election. Mr. Biden now has a 21-point lead among white college graduates, and the president is losing among white voters in the three Northern battleground states not by much, but he won them by nearly 10 points in 2016.
Four years ago, Mr. Trumps strength in the disproportionately white working-class battleground states allowed him to win the Electoral College while losing the popular vote. The surveys indicate that the president continues to fare better in these relatively white battleground states than he does nationwide.
A separate Times/Siena survey released on Wednesday found Mr. Biden leading by 14 points nationwide, 50 percent to 36 percent.

(9,263 posts)I believe Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin are nearing the point where trump has ZERO chance as long as voters get out and vote. Arizona and Florida could be off the table for trump as well as COVID rages, GOP Governors are trumpers and trump could care less about COVID. Then we could see a new batch of "battle ground states with Georgia, Texas, North and South Carolina come into play

(7,080 posts)And we need Mighty Joe to hit these states. He needs to make small, responsible personal appearances. We can't hold big rallies, but he needs events aimed at these specific places. If these numbers hold, that's the ballgame. But there is a long way to go yet. 5 months. 5 months ago, the world was very different.

(21,859 posts)answer any ?s truthfully anyways, we've all had enough of what rump wants to say, being that he tweets literally everyday on anything and everything, despite no one really caring what the f**k he thinks about the issue in question anyways.
rump is making things up besides anyway on the debate, trying to drive the debates into his favor, by demanding a fourth debate, by demanding his own choice of a moderator, and other nonsense drivel that makes the independence of the debates questionable by his idiotic demands. Personally I don't think rump will debate, he's too much of a coward and chicken to debate anything with anyone one on one.

(155 posts)The Biden Campaign needs to address the economy ASAP to show that Biden has control of this issue. He can easily use the 2008 crisis to his advantage. The campaign needs to do this now!
