Get rid of all the people, no more problems.

Harshly cynical, but the alternative is the claim that I keep seeing implied--that there are groups of perfect people distinguishable by some sort of feature and then "them". And we must self-segregate from the wicked, with a congregation for the doctrine of the faith to preserve our purity.

This is in parallel with the idea that the populace is in no way responsible for morality, all of that should be enforced from above on a truly free people.

We're all insane.

Cops didn't prevent them, either.

There is a HUGE homeless population here, there is a HUGE population of IV drug users.

Who got shot? Who is out on the street before 5 am? Usually not Anarchist BLM Antifa Looting Terrorists - they're too exhausted from their 24 Hour Party People lifestyle.

Not necessarily the Homeless or the users themselves committing the crimes, but those who sell them the meth or heroin. That was the story with the recent gun battle outside the 4th and Pine McDonalds, and the shootings inside the Jungle a couple years back. There is overlap between the homeless and IV drug users.

It should be noted that some of the 4 shootings took place OUTSIDE the Chop. If you're going to crime, it makes sense to target people once they leave the relative safety of the Zone. One of the victims pointedly blamed the Proud Boys from his hospital bed. But, I have no idea who the actual perpetrators are in the case of these 4 shootings. I don't think anyone does.

Your personal preference for martyrs to the cause is not going to happen.
