President Trump says his family is unified. A niece's book could explode that image.

Source: Washington Post

It was a rare admission when President Trump told The Washington Post last year that he regretted the way he treated his older brother, Fred Jr., who died of alcoholism. But he insisted that a subsequent financial feud with his late brother’s children had been settled amicably, saying, “We all get along.”

Now, however, Trump’s niece — the daughter of Fred Jr. — has written a book slated to be published in July that could explode the image of a unified Trump family.

In a description of the book posted on Amazon late Monday night, Mary Trump, a clinical psychologist, is said to describe “a nightmare of traumas, destructive relationships, and a tragic combination of neglect and abuse. She explains how specific events and general family patterns created the damaged man who currently occupies the Oval Office, including the strange and harmful relationship between Fred Trump and his two oldest sons, Fred Jr. and Donald.”

Mary Trump plans to reveal the feuds that have long simmered within the family but until now have been largely masked by nondisclosure agreements and the limited public visibility of the president’s siblings, the Daily Beast reported Sunday.

The Trump family is a study in greed and deceit. There isn't an ounce of honor or integrity within the entire stinking family. I want to see this family dragged through the mud and ruined. However, money talks louder than even Donald himself in this country. He, and the rest of his detestable family, will probably get through the post-Trump presidential era without more than a few feathers ruffled. I have no faith that the present American judicial system will allow anything more than that.

I just reread your statement changing "country" for Trump, rather chilling.

People wonder how he got elected.

Maybe the murder of George Floyd is the reflection in the mirror that will allow a kinder country to emerge.

How ironic that he was murdered over counterfeit money, especially since there is no reason to assume at this point that he even knew it was counterfeit.

After growing up with barely any personal contact with her father, once the child support ended and Trump went to Washington, Marla sent her to make nice with her daddy, get her education paid for, and try to ingratiate herself with her half brothers and sister. Ivanka helped her get a credit card from Daddy so she had some spending money and enable her to hang out with other rich kids. I doubt she measures up with Daddy himself, since she's not exactly a 10 in his eyes, and he barely mentions her.

if she thought she could make more money with her tell-all book and interviews she may go all in.

Either way, this is what he gets for running for President and thinking he'd be immune from scrutiny of all the skeletons in his closet.

Being the clinical psychologist that his niece is, she may delve into the psychological profile of Trump and show what a sociopath he appears to be. There shouldn’t be a problem for Trump though as he is a master at lying is way out of everything and changing the narrative for his moronic base so there shouldn’t be much difference in who is going to vote for him amongst his diehards. The good news is though, it may affect some of those independents that are still on the fence and finally say fuck this guy he’s crazy and vote for Joe, a nice stable person.
