If Trump and the Republicans were depending on the summer weather to help their election campaigns against the virus, this article will make that thread of hope go bye bye. Record heat in India. virus exploding. oh my.

It's really pointless telling them the virus is in plenty of hot sunny places.

to show the absolute stubborn arrogance and blind ignorance in the thinking of Trump and his supporters that somehow the virus effect on the U.S will be different than the effect on the world because we are the 'U.S'. The price for that thinking is pain horror and death.

may keep the virus active on surfaces longer. And air conditioning can spread droplets indoors where people are sharing the same air.

The AC spread the virus around the restaurant.

Seems the critter has a limited airborne means of transmission.

Closed areas with forced air ventilation are not good if there is a spreader in them.

I thought it was the opposite, at least for viruses that are affected by humidity.

it's true that humidity can slow down droplets flying through the air.

I was thinking of surfaces staying wet longer when it's humid. So an infected person coughs or sneezes and it gets on a grocery cart, door handle, or elevator button, then it would take longer before those droplets dry.

They're one of the most vulnerable nations to climate change, and their massive population means famine is always stalking hundreds of millions.

a doctor who described how dangerous Covid-19 is said one of the countries he was most concerned about was India. I guess he had good reason.
