(1,613 posts)to show the absolute stubborn arrogance and blind ignorance in the thinking of Trump and his supporters that somehow the virus effect on the U.S will be different than the effect on the world because we are the 'U.S'. The price for that thinking is pain horror and death.

(45,380 posts)may keep the virus active on surfaces longer. And air conditioning can spread droplets indoors where people are sharing the same air.

(1,613 posts)I lived in florida for 3yrs. Air con is almost a must. it's going to be a very long and nervous summer.

Seems the critter has a limited airborne means of transmission.
Closed areas with forced air ventilation are not good if there is a spreader in them.

(45,380 posts)it's true that humidity can slow down droplets flying through the air.
I was thinking of surfaces staying wet longer when it's humid. So an infected person coughs or sneezes and it gets on a grocery cart, door handle, or elevator button, then it would take longer before those droplets dry.
