Wisconsin sending mail-in ballot applications to 2.7 million registered voters

The Wisconsin Elections Commission on Wednesday approved a plan to send absentee ballot applications to more than 2.7 million registered voters, in a move that comes as President Trump continues to attack the ballot method as one that leads to fraud.
The move comes as states grapple with how to deal with elections amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The decision from the commission follows an April primary in which the state saw a dramatic increase in applications to vote by mail and states
After meeting in a public video conference to address the proposal, the six-member commission unanimously approved a plan to send an application form and a pre-paid envelope to about 2.7 million registered state voters, Reuters reported.

Absentee plan
Excluded from the 2.7 million recipients of the mailing are the 528,000 voters who have already requested an absentee ballot for an upcoming election this year, and 158,000 voters who the state suspects have moved addresses.
Elections officials are anticipating numerous challenges for the August and November elections following the April 7 election, which provided a test run of how to conduct an election in a pandemic. In that election, Wisconsinites requested absentee ballots in record numbers to avoid showing up at the polls and risking their health. State officials estimate as many as 1.8 million Wisconsinites could request an absentee ballot ahead of the November election.
Commission chairman Dean Knudson, a Republican, had wanted to further exclude people who live in municipalities that are sending out their own absentee ballot applications, but failed to get bipartisan support because Democrats wanted the mailings to be consistent statewide.
In addition to sending voters an application, the plan also somewhat centralizes the processing of absentee ballot requests. The commission proposed hiring additional temporary staff or working with a data warehouse to receive the mailed forms and enter them into the online MyVote system, as well as scan in photo ID and other application materials. The goal is to alleviate the strain on local clerks who may again face unprecedented absentee ballot requests.
Let's see how many states are told that they can't have elections because they are allowing mail-in voting...
The thing is, this may be his plan... The states are in control of the elections, so THEY decide if there is an election.
What if the battle comes down to Democratic states insisting on having elections, and Republican states saying "NO CAN DO, Der Fuhrer says we can't"... The republican controlled legislatures would do it in a heart beat.
Voting in an election IS voluntary. Elections can be had WITHOUT your vote. Let's see if that works the same for state legislatures. Talk about a blue tsunami of biblical proportions!!!
A silver lining may also be the side lining of the electoral college.
