Trump, Pelosi see 'Phase 4' coronavirus package that includes infrastructure spending

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi also calls for additional payments to Americans, more aid for state and local governments and other steps

As Washington considers other steps for responding to the coronavirus pandemic and the resulting economic damage, President Donald Trump and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi both have suggested a “Phase 4” package could include spending on infrastructure.

Trump on Tuesday called for $2 trillion in spending on infrastructure, saying in a tweet that it was time to “be VERY BIG & BOLD” while interest rates are low.

The president’s statements on Twitter come after Pelosi on Monday said a “Phase 4” coronavirus stimulus package ought to include a bipartisan deal on infrastructure spending. In his tweets on Tuesday, Trump used the term “Phase 4” and said Pelosi “wasn’t bad” in a TV appearance on Tuesday.

The California Democrat on Monday also said she would like to see the next bill feature “more direct payments” to Americans, more money for state and local governments, increased protections for workers, more assistance for hospitals and nursing homes and “more opportunity for family and medical leave.”

An ellipsis is a series of three dots that usually indicates an intentional omission of a word, sentence, or whole section from a text without altering its original meaning.

You KNOW who it is without even looking at who posted it.

We ALL have our wording and response styles. I overuse ... and CAPITALIZE every word that I want to emphasize.

Get used to it. It is what makes us interesting.

(OK, people could use spellcheck a little more often, and at least PROOF READ what they just typed, before hitting send... There have been many that I wished I could retrieve... )

And this affects those blue collar workers working in "infrastructure industries" that we have lost over the decades.

The turd has had almost 4 years to get going on the infrastructure, but hasn't done shit (except try to STOP anything that has been approved for blue states).

The democrats need to make sure the people KNOW that this is being pushed through by democrats. And that it isn't just talk, but ACTION.

The turd thinks he can buy people's vote with his signature on a $1200 check funded by tax payers, but a JOB with a paycheck coming in every week to two weeks WILL get their attention.

We can't allow the turd to spin it as HIS accomplishment.

use that as his major campaign attack on the Dems for being liars.

First he'll use the check as proof of his care for Americans.

Second, he'll use the standoff to be a viable "incumbent" as cover for being only a racketeering jackal.
