Trump congratulates Barr on 'taking charge' of Roger Stone sentencing recommendation

Source: ABC News

resident Donald Trump congratulated Attorney General Bill Barr Wednesday morning for 'taking charge" in the Justice Department's overruling of the sentencing recommendation made by prosecutors in the case of his longtime friend and former campaign adviser Roger Stone.

"Congratulations to Attorney General Bill Barr for taking charge of a case that was totally out of control and perhaps should not have even been brought. Evidence now clearly shows that the Mueller Scam was improperly brought & tainted. Even Bob Mueller lied to Congress!" Trump tweeted.

The president fired off another tweet on the sentencing recommendation of Stone saying "Two months in jail for a Swamp Creature, yet 9 years recommended for Roger Stone (who was not even working for the Trump Campaign). Gee, that sounds very fair! Rogue prosecutors maybe?"

The "swamp creature" the president is referring to is most likely James Wolfe who in 2018 received a two month sentence after pleading guilty to lying to the FBI. Prosecutors argued at trial that Wolfe told a reporter in October 2017 that he served someone with a subpoena involving the Russia investigation and later lied about the exchange to FBI agents.

Trump absolutely must pardon him - or at the very least run a Scooter Libby and commute his sentence to zero. For Trump, that's a half-measure, so he will pardon.

All this is just preface to the pardon, advance justification for nullifying a properly tried case in which a jury of his peers convicted Stone of multiple federal felonies.

First Team tRump convinces his cult that Stone being found guilty was a travesty so when the pardon comes the cult applauds him for freeing such a fine, upstanding person.

He'll tell his good buddy Barr the case shouldn't have been brought in the first place, and the most corrupt AG in the history of the US will find some excuse to throw the entire case out the window, lock, stock and barrel. No indictment, no trial, no jury verdict, no sentencing. Nothing. As Trump says it should be, therefore it is.

Stone is hanging (pun) by a thread and can feel the noose around his neck if he goes to jail (Which, IMHO) will never happen. If he does, expect a Jeffrey Epstein.

Founders didn't have any way of anticipating a scuzbucket in the executive & gutless punks in the Senate. drumpf's in a position of strength because the Senate, the only real check on him, abrogated their authority & power.
