Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax sues CBS for $400M over accuser interviews
Published September 12, 2019 News Associated Press

RICHMOND, Va. - Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax filed a $400 million lawsuit Thursday against CBS, alleging the company defamed him when it broadcast interviews with two women he says have falsely accused him of sexual assault.

The lawsuit filed in federal court Thursday alleges nobody at the company investigated or adequately fact-checked the allegations made by Meredith Watson or Vanessa Tyson before airing them. It says CBS' actions have damaged Fairfax's reputation and "once promising career and political prospects."

Doesn't he have to show it was done with malice? If he does then honestly doubt that he will win. cstanleytech Feb 2020 #1

Everyone knows CBS did nothing wrong.
Why is he & "blackface" Northam still in office anyway?

Seems your own sentiment was as just "brilliant", sourced and fact-checked as the reponse to it.

I get it... hold others to a higher standard than we hold ourselves to. The convenience of such is, well... "brilliant."

Judges often attach costs to what they consider a frivolous suit. This case is exactly that; frivolous.
Regardless, its tossed, so he lost.
