The White House escorted Lt. Col. Alexandar Vindman from the White House grounds on Friday after testifying in the inquiry that resulted in President Donald Trump being impeached for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

The move was widely seen as retaliation, an analysis that appeared sound on Friday when it was reported that the White House also unceremoniously escorted Vindman’s twin brother from the White House grounds.

“Colonel Vindman’s twin brother, Yevgeny Vindman, also an Army lieutenant colonel who worked at the White House, was fired as well and escorted out at the same time,” The New York Times reported, citing “two people briefed on the developments.”....................

They'll say the President has to have confidence in the staff advising him, and that Vindeman had lost that confidence. Cutting his 2 year commitment to the NSC a few months short isn't a huge deal. Escorting him out of the White House was a bit much.

It'll be interesting what he gets assigned to next. If he goes to the Pentagon or some legit base, that'll be fine, but if he ends up at Ice Station nowhere, it'll be clear cut case of retribution. I doubt he'd go to a combat command given his rank and recent work history.

Anybody who didn't see this coming is willfully being a moron. The Republicans own this - they knew it was coming and voted for it.

And it will get worse now that he is above all law. This is going to haunt the whole damn country, even the dumb asses that exonerated him.

Reminds me of a union vote we had at a company I worked for. The vote failed and the owner went nuts firing everyone involved for any reason he could find. If you were wrong on a date on your original application... gone.

I think he was afraid of another vote in a year so cleaned house to a skeleton crew. The remaining employees said the place was hell after. He wouldn't hire new employees and worked all those dumb motherfuckers that voted against a union crazy hours. If you didn't show up on the weekends he docked your pay 10 cents per hour each offense.

Hope it was worth it, idiots!

Anyone paying even the slightest attention to Trump should be able to see that he's a petty vindictive POS and spineless Republican enablers in the senate just flushed their oath of office down the crapper and kissed Trump's ass so now he's sure that he can do whatever he wants.

Anyone with half a brain could have foreseen what petty, vindictive Trump would do to anyone who testified against him. Remember he claimed that the families of terrorists should be murdered, so Vindeman’s brother had to go, too. The Vindeman brothers leave their posts with their honor intact. Trump never had any honor. I generally avoid cursing, but Trump is an enormous piece of shit disgracing our White House.
