Last edited Mon Feb 3, 2020, 02:14 PM - Edit history (1)

Source: Axios

Veterans Affairs deputy secretary James Byrne was fired Monday morning, three Trump administration officials tell Axios. The White House confirmed that Byrne is no longer with the administration.

Why it matters: The VA has recently been in inner turmoil. Byrne was confirmed by the Senate to the position in September with a vote of 81 to 11.

This story is developing. Please check back for updates.

will trump fill the position within the legally required time limit for filling vacancies or will he not fill it given that trump's presidency will expire before the refill vacancy? My bet is that he'll leave another vacancy empty as an end to further destabilize what is to be a functioning government.

Not just veterans either, people of all ages. The GOP enables this race to the bottom and they all need to go or we're in big trouble and doomed comes to mind.

7. Another former rump employee, fired! How many does this make? I am guessing low 30s, but...

I could be wrong and wouldn't be surprised if the number of fired rump employees is higher (and confirmed too, by the worthless republican Senate thugs). Good job!
