Thompson Suggests Romney Is Dragging Him Down

Source: TPM

Tommy Thompson said Wednesday that Mitt Romney is dragging him down in his Senate race against Rep. Tammy Baldwin.

Yeah, my brother told me about the drunken ramble. Said it was a disgrace to the team and to Wisconsin.

You're plenty unlikeable all on your own!

But quick thinking in preemptively explaining away your loss! Another great example of GOP "personal responsibility", Tommy.

when it comes to their contempt for this mythical 47% of Americans who are supposedly moochers off government money.

He was instrumental in kicking thousands of single moms off welfare in Wisconsin when the GOP deformed the program back in the 80's.

Maybe I missed it.

He and Sue Ann ( a good egg) effectively divorced many years ago, due to his long term affair with another woman. Sue Ann is a devout Catholic, hence no divorce. Also a breast cancer survivor and a teacher.

The other woman died a few years ago.

Daughters never too visible when Tommy was gov. Of WI anyway. Probably have families of their own now and want nothing to do with him or his campaign.

Curious how Tommy's affair flies under the radar when other politicians resign in disgrace. Maybe you have to pay the media to repost a story like that in the paper.

You don't even entertain the thought that a lot of cheeseheads are learning that: You're drunk more often than sober; you're a chronic womanizer; you look and sound like a sleazy used car salesman; you're a two-bit grifter who sold his influence to big pharma at the expense of the rest of us; you, like most Republicons, lie, cheat, and steal to get your way? The real reason, Tommy, and it's something your wife, friends, associates, and other assorted butt-kissers and boot-lickers won't tell you, is that you're an asshole.
