Romney campaign cautious with ad budget, even in key states

Source: New York Times

Mitt Romney has had a light campaign schedule lately. He held his first rally in five days on Wednesday night.

And there is another place where his presence is oddly lacking: in the television ad wars.

Despite what appears to be a plump bank account and an in-house production studio that cranks out multiple commercials a day, Mr. Romney’s campaign has been tightfisted with its advertising budget, leaving him at a disadvantage in several crucial states as President Obama blankets them with ads.

One major reason appears to be that Mr. Romney’s campaign finances have been significantly less robust than recent headlines would suggest.

Interesting article suggesting that Rmoney's money advantage may not be as robust as it appears, and that they have been slow to spend.

Here in VA, the official Rmoney ads are actually few and far in between...and MSNBC is giving him a serious beating tonight on ALL of their shows !

I think dude is simply transferring his donations to some of those Cayman Island accounts...

Mittens pissed off billionaires are going to pour continuousness nasty ads looping it over and over until election. I mean this shit is going to be raw and ugly, plus secret GOP agents will infiltrate all Dems campaigns who are up for election this year, video taping, audio taping, using any type of equipment that will show something negative of them, but the GOPpers main goal, GET O! Meanwhile Pres O has an October Surprise . . .

to make an ad, then throw it away before you get to air it. Every time they finally have one, it's obsolete... toss! Or they find out it's got more stuff to laugh at.... toss!

And I further suspect that they the PACs are going to funnel it to downticket races instead. Which will suck way more than tons of pro-Romney ads.

It's all about the downticket races, folks. GOTV!
