The Utah Republicans statement marks the strongest condemnation of the president from any Republican senator. Most members of the GOP have responded to the presidents China request with silence.
In a tweet, Romney said that by all appearances, the Presidents brazen and unprecedented appeal to China and to Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden is wrong and appalling.
When the only American citizen President Trump singles out for Chinas investigation is his political opponent in the midst of the Democratic nomination process, it strains credulity to suggest that it is anything other than politically motivated, Romney further noted.

(7,408 posts)In 2016 he gave such a wonderful, spot on speech about what a monster trump was and then, next thing I see he's having dinner with him, looking like someone who just came from the woodshed, sheepishly grinning away.
A total about face, quite similar to Lindsay Graham's.
What gives?
I'm thinking he has something "on" both of them or a family member. Its how he arranges his life.
