Let us never forget, Bishop is the author of the so called bathroom bill, HB2. He's got to go!

(40,153 posts)But that is really close. People will say that close doesnt count, but it does. Trump won this district by 12. The democrats shaved off nearly 10 points.

(6,110 posts)Trend is your friend, as they say.

(42,383 posts)He is losing by a larger margin this time.

(6,965 posts)Not sure what he lost by last time with all the cheating being done by the good Preacher et al.
Secondly, looks like cheating pays sad as that is.

(22,418 posts)It's the NY Times after all. I'm going to look for another source.

(89,182 posts)those are close numbers
Jake Stern
(3,145 posts)but if the shoe were on the other foot (a solid blue district electing a Dem by only a few points) Republicans would be shouting from the rooftops that such tight numbers show the people are tired of the "far left Democrats".
In other words they'd spin a loss into a win.
We need to do the same, if for no other reason than to boost morale.

(9,631 posts)while cd#9 @94% reports approx. 180,000 votes
hopefully the democrats campaign is making sure that over preforming rural area actual has that many peops
remember this revote is happening because the repubs were caught cheating last time
questionseverything
(9,631 posts)186,928 were from cd9 race
which would leave 161,629 for cd #3
not what is being reported

(13,650 posts)Bishop is going to win by a couple of percentage points. So I think were still in good shape.
LenaBaby61
(6,965 posts)Sure won't be, because even if Dems come out en mass, I'm pretty sure russia will have yet another way to help their fascistic, treasonous, money-laundering, obese buddy get placed back into the White House.
And even in a more extreme measure, what if putin tells fatso to call off the 2020 elections? Who'll stop his fat ass? MoscowMitch & Lindsey the human anus will take a bullet for tRump (Lindsey would, not sure about MoscowMitch).

(9,880 posts)Of course he will take credit for it because he held a rally and told his supporters to get out and vote for Bishop. Im disappointed, but I think its a reminder that beating Trump will not be a slam dunk. Well need to get out every vote possible and try to guard against Republican cheating.

(24,632 posts)said that it is just fine fine and dandy to condone past cheating, and to continue being bigots, basically..................while 48% said that it was not fine and dandy to cheat in the past election....................
