MANITOWOC COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) -- UPDATE 9/9:

Steven Avery's attorney says a $100,000 reward is being offered for "the arrest and conviction of the real killer of Teresa Halbach."

Kathleen Zellner tweeted the reward information Monday morning after teasing a "big announcement" was coming in the Steven Avery case.

Zellner says the reward is being offered by a "concerned citizen."

1. Your dismissal of this as being not serious...

It’s pretty questionable since Avery has already spent 18 years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit.

I have no idea if he murdered Halbach, but it’s certainly possible he did not.

2. Yup, and served time prior to that for a rape he didn't commit

No, he isn't a nice guy, but who cares? His arrest on sketchy AF evidence in the middle of a lawsuit against the people arresting and investigating him is laughable and appalling. There is not enough evidence to charge him, period, and it is 100% obvious his nephew had nothing to do with anything, and was unlawfully convicted.

3. All the credible evidence says Avery did kill Halbach.

His lawyer is a notorious conspiracy theorist.

This "documentary" leaves out a lot of pertinent information about Avery and the evidence, also.

I live just 30 miles south of where this all happens, and a Sheboygan judge ruled AGAINST a new trial.

There just isn't any evidence to warrant a new trial, all Avery has is the wild accusations from his sheister lawyer.
