At night there has been the sound of shoveling in the FLOTUS suite of the WH. She's either trying to escape or digging for more gold.

I'd love to see a copy of their pre-nup.

Would be if he draws off the leaning rethuglicans that regret voting for tRump last time, who may have been looking at voting Dem this time.

Because they believe in "REDEMPTION" and see Mark Sanford repented for his sin of adultery, atoned, thus seeking redemption.

I also could be wrong.

You are trying to be rational while talking about people who believe invisible cloud aliens control everything and actually care about them while handing over their money to grifters who tell them what they want to hear.

He’s not going to force trump out, he’s going to perhaps embarrass him in one state.

If one of these challengers did miraculously replace trump their party would be in complete disarray.

And Since Trump won't be on the GOP primary ballot in California, and perhaps other states, this may help Sanford and the other opposition candidates do more damage to Trump from the right.

The King must have his coronation, and that means no opposition from anyone. No primaries mean no one in the party is pointing out the king has no clothes.

and Sanford is in on it.
Maybe he's out of politics anyways, so he's okay with being used for the good of the party. Maybe to make amends in some way.

He is obviously not a threat to Donald. You'd need someone on the scale of a John McCain to run against him and have a chance. So he's there as a distraction? Maybe as a 'third wheel just in case an actual threat runs against Donald? Some other nefarious reason yet to be revealed?

Don't trust any Republican. ie. that he's running for legitimate reasons to unseat Donald Trump.
