Trump tweets video of CNN saying Alabama was in the way of Hurricane Dorian
Source: The Hill
President Trump tweeting a doctored CNN clip showing a meteorologist saying Alabama was at risk of getting hit by Hurricane Dorian as he continued to lambast media coverage of his assertion the state was in the path of the storm.
Trump tweeted a video showing a CNN meteorologist explaining that the Carolinas, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana and Alabama were at risk, editing the video so the reporter says Alabama 10 times back-to-back.
The video then shows a CNN logo going down a road in lieu of a car only to drive off the street and explode.

Was he traumatized by a weather map or abused by a meteorologist as a child?

(844 posts)He just can't admit he made a mistake - and has to prove he's right and everyone else is wrong. As to the other stuff, he really is too effin' stupid to think that globally. Too many people give him way too much credit to think that he's orchestrating all of this krap in the background. Some of his acolytes like Mulvaney & Miller are playing games, but do you really think this idjit has any real clue? If it all really is an act, he's been pulling it off for the better part of 70+ years, multiple financial failures and all. Most people in NYC think he is, and has always been, a buffoon. If it all turned out to be some kind of game, then he really is a stable genius - but I think his history and current actions prove otherwise, in spades.

(11,488 posts)But, as has been explained countless times, that was several days before tRumps statement that Alabama was in the Hurricanes path. However, those early predictions only showed Dorian crossing the Florida peninsula, nothing after that.
IF tRump had been paying attention to the forecasts, as you would expect given that he skipped out on going to Poland with the excuse of staying in the US to monitor Dorian, he'd have known exactly what the most recent forecasts were. But, as we all know, he was far more concerned with playing golf than being bother by hurricane preparations and forecasts.
And, of course, he could have been out of this latest 'controversy' by simply stating "oops, I made a misstatement".... but NOOOOOOOOOO, the man-baby doesn't know how to admit making a mistake so here we are once again.

(5,103 posts)It comes with a lot of "ifs"!
tRumps maps were so early that Dorian could have gone anywhere. You don't start an evacuation based on that.
tRump doesn't understand what an "H" on the map means.
The one close to Florida near the west coast blocked the storm from going that way. The "H" off the Carolina coast combined with the Gulf High meant Dorian was locked over the Bahamas for almost two days.
The eastern High moved out and Dorian went North.
But this is science stuff and we know it's fake!
(So why does the orange ass even bother to repeat it?)
