A giant Baby Trump balloon that has followed the president across the world in protests of various state visits is flying over Copenhagen despite President Trump having canceled his Denmark trip.

The balloon flew over the Danish city Monday, Bloomberg reports.

It was part of a "Stop Trump" protest hosted by a range of liberal, activist groups.

The groups were protesting Trump's "sabotage of the global fight against climate change and his racist and discriminatory policies," based on a Facebook event description.

Nearly 3,000 people indicated they would attend based on the Facebook event.

Trump abruptly canceled his planned Sept. 2-3 Denmark state visit after he said Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen's rejection of his proposal to purchase Greenland was "nasty" and "inappropriate."

Frederiksen said Trump's request to buy the autonomous Danish territory was "absurd."

"She’s not talking to me. She’s talking to the United States of America. You don’t talk to the United States that way," Trump told reporters a day after he canceled plans to visit Denmark.

The baby Trump balloon has greeted Trump before. The balloon flew during protests of Trump's state visit to the U.K., as well as during Washington, D.C. protests on July 4.
