Judge issues restraining order against South Bay congressional candidate Omar Navarro
Source: Torrance Daily Breeze
A judge this week issued a restraining order against South Bay Republican congressional candidate Omar Navarro, ordering him to stay away from a former girlfriend for five years.
This is the second time in two years Navarro has had a restraining order issued against him.
The Torrance resident will once again challenge veteran Rep. Maxine Waters, a Democrat, during the 2020 election. He lost two other bids against Waters, who represents the heavily Democratic 43rd District, stretching from Westchester to Torrance.
In September 2016, Navarro was sentenced to a day in jail in Orange County, placed on probation for 18 months and ordered to stay away from his estranged wife after pleading guilty to placing an illegal tracking device on her car, a misdemeanor.

There's also the Republican joke of a challenger to Ilhan Omar who stole from Target (a no-no in Minnesota) and believes in Qanon.
"They're not sending their best" is an accurate quote about the Republican Party, from its own leader.

(14,526 posts)When will the judicial system take this shit seriously? He taken the restraining orders against him as serious as the court is. He will not stop.
When the republican party sends its people, theyre not sending their best. Theyre bringing drugs. Theyre bringing crime. Theyre rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.
Well, I'm not sure about the "some are good people".
