'Too bad!': Trump jokes about 3 a.m. break-in at Elijah Cummings's home

President Trump on Friday joked about a middle-of-the-night break-in at the Baltimore home of his nemesis Rep. Elijah Cummings over the weekend. Cummings was at home during the incident but was not harmed.

“Really bad news! The Baltimore house of Elijah Cummings was robbed,” the president tweeted. “Too bad!”

Police said the burglary at Cummings’s home in West Baltimore occurred at 3:40 Saturday morning, hours before Trump’s controversial tweets attacking the Democratic congressman and calling the city a “disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess” where “no human being would want to live.”

“I scared the intruder away by yelling before the person gained entry into the residential portion of the house,” Cummings said.

out around this exact same time? Trump had been going hard against the Squad and then suddenly pivoted to Cummings.

1) Cummings subpoenas Princess Ivanka's emails that she used on a private email server in the exact way she accused (falsely) Hilary of doing.

2) Cummings house is broken into.

3) A few hours later tRump tweet-storms about Cummings, including the fake sympathy post.

If I have this wrong I'd like to be corrected.

I find it more than coincidental that just a few hours before Trump starts singling out Cummings, his house is almost robbed. I don't believe that was coincidence and it was probably set up by someone working for Trump and someone who knew Trump was going to start going in on Cummings.

When he put exclamation point on his "too bad" about an opponent he has been lambasting, that is proof positive it is fake sympathy and his deplorable base will read it that way, as fake, and think O.o break into a "rat" house and get a presidential tweet!
