GOP senator introduces resolution to formally condemn socialism

Sen. Steve Daines (R-Mont.) on Monday introduced a resolution condemning socialism, taking to the Senate floor to blast Democratic policies he said would lead to “complete government control."

“A radical, socialist, far-left movement is growing across this country. And it has taken root as the new voice of the Democratic Party ... Today we make a choice. Freedom or Socialism. I choose freedom,” Daines said Monday.

In prepared remarks, the Montana senator condemned policies supported by the progressive wing of the Democratic Party, such as the Green New Deal and Medicare for All. The resolution claims without evidence that the proposals would “eliminate the private property rights of all people of the United States.”

The resolution further calls capitalism “the greatest engine for human advancement in the history of the world, bringing more people out of poverty and into prosperity than any economic model in the history of mankind.”

Forgotten faster than the zillion Republican tries to end Obamacare.

The rant against socialism has been a media darling of Republicans since the 1800s.

OK, OK, I know many GOP-ers will say stupid things because it will garner one more vote of the base, but how really ignorant does one have to be to fall for a statement like Sen. Daines proposed in his Resolution?
If Daines studied Comparative Economic Systems in college, or elsewhere, and had a personal opinion about that, I might give him a pass. But to speak out of school about Socialism or any subject matter of which he knows nothing, seems woefully stupid.
Since Daines has a college degree in Chemistry, perhaps he would get the point if I offered an opinion about the molecular structure of spittle, about which I know nothing.
(BTW, no Democratic candidate that I am aware of, on any level, proposes the complete public ownership of all the means of production, or Socialism.)

Dead animals, stuffed and mounted to look "lifelike" means that life is good for those that enjoy killing living things and displaying them on the wall. The photo of him and "Hunter Barbie" his wife illustrate that his head is as empty as the beautiful Montana landscape behind him, but without the beauty.
