Harris County, Texas -- Two toddlers and at least one adult were burned after someone fired shots into their vehicle during a road rage incident, causing fireworks inside to ignite, CBS Houston affiliate KHOU-TV reports. Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez tweeted that the toddlers sustained major burns and had to be airlifted to a hospital. They were in critical condition.
According to Harris, the car that was hit had a family of four in it a one year old and one-to-three year old and their parents.
Harris said the car drove off briefly, but then was engulfed in flames.
. . .
The toddlers' father was also burned, Harris added. The Harris County Fire Marshall's Office said the mother was burned, as well.

Need to ban one. Can't ban people, can't ban anger, that leaves only fireworks or guns.

(86,586 posts)and every vehicle I encountered had someone driving who was blatantly arrogant and pushy. I was glad I was NOT on my way to the nearby national park where they were all headed. I'm sure I had a better time out in the field at the farm than they did wherever they went.
And there was a big accident with one of those ridiculous trailer sets that non-commercial drivers get to pull. So the multi-vehicle accident was a pick-up truck pulling a long camper trailer with yet another trailer w/ATVs on it all messed up off the side of the road. The camp trailer was rolled over, the truck was upright and the ATV trailer was jack-knifed, guess that was their holiday event, don't know how it all happened but it looked like a mess... could have been caused by another driver in a different vehicle as well.
Americans are at their worst when behind the wheel.

(66,328 posts)In the month or so before we moved away from Houston in 1982, there were six or seven lethal road rage incidents in Harris County. Every limp-dick loser with a gun thinks he's a fucking Wild West gunslinger.
