Pelosi says Trump is 'becoming self-impeachable'

Source: Washington Post

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Wednesday that President Trump is “becoming self-impeachable,” pointing to his efforts to fight all subpoenas from congressional investigations and prevent key aides from testifying before Congress.

“The point is that every single day, whether it’s obstruction, obstruction, obstruction — obstruction of having people come to the table with facts, ignoring subpoenas .?.?. every single day, the president is making a case — he’s becoming self-impeachable, in terms of some of the things that he is doing,” Pelosi said at a Washington Post Live event.

In Wednesday’s interview, Pelosi also mocked Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s declaration of “case closed” in the wake of the Mueller investigation.

“Isn’t that so sad? In for a dime, in for a dollar, right?” she said of McConnell (R-Ky.), describing his support for Trump. “You might as well go all the way.”

Considering all the dark money that flowed into Republican political campaigns, I wouldn't be surprised if some of that dark money was from the Russian government. I suspect that Russian involvement in federal-level US politics goes well beyond the White House and deep into the legislative branch.

Are you another of Vladimir Vladimirovich's little helpers, Mitch? Enquiring American patriots want to know.

"...Nine Democratic senators recently called for the Federal Election Commission to investigate whether the gun group illegally coordinated political advertising with several Republican Senate candidates ..."
...

"...the past year has brought deepening federal scrutiny of the NRA’s ties with two Russian operatives: Alexander Torshin, who is suspected of Russian mob activity and money laundering by international authorities and was sanctioned by the US government last year, and Maria Butina, who pleaded guilty in December to a conspiracy charge and has been cooperating with US prosecutors..."

https://forwardky.com/is-mcconnell-in-trouble/

"With the revelation that Maria Butina is doing a plea deal with Federal prosecutors, and is going to be a cooperating witness, the question arises: Does this have implications for Mitch McConnell?

We already know that Butina was working “to establish unofficial lines of communication with Americans having power and influence over U.S. politics…for the benefit of the Russian Federation.” And, we know that much of that work was done through contacts in the NRA.

In fact, Butina was a last-minute addition to the NRA convention held in Louisville, and actually spoke at the event. There were also reports that she talked with Donald Trump Jr. while there.

And finally, we know that various Russians put money into the 2016 campaign, including into Mitch McConnell’s PAC."

"The Reluctant Speaker". Sadly, President Sociopath is forcing her hand. He's doing it to himself. "We don't want to impeach him, but he's giving us little choice..."

It's coming. October? Probably by October, hopefully on my birthday.

... there are so many that are clueless or in denial over how bad Trump and his crew are that mountains of proof have to be piled in front of them before they will start to think, "uhm, something isn't right here".

is obstruction of justice. The biggest lie is that Trump and associates "cooperated completely" with the Mueller investigation. They stonewalled at every turn.

Do you think maybe Nancy Pelosi's early statements about not being on board for impeachment was just a ruse on her part?
Subtly encouraging the Republicans to over play their hand and, as she just said that president Trump is, "becoming self-impeachable".
He certainly "jumped the shark" today with his declaration of executive privilege for so many things, included the unredacted Mueller report.
Now the game is in earnest.
The next 2-3 months or so should be real interesting.
