Saudi Arabia executes 37 people, crucifying one, for terror-related crimes

Source: CNN

Saudi Arabia has executed 37 men convicted of terror-related crimes, the kingdom's official news agency said Tuesday.

One of the convicts was crucified, according to an interior ministry statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

"The death penalty was implemented on a number of criminals for adopting extremist terrorist ideologies and forming terrorist cells to corrupt and disrupt security as well as spreading chaos and provoking sectarian strife," SPA said in a tweet.

The statement listed the names of the 37 Saudi nationals who were executed in various parts of the country. Saudi Arabia has one of the highest death penalty rates in the world.

The accused is forced to kneel on the platform, hands tied behind their back. They are then poked in the side with a stick, which causes them to involuntarily raise their body. The executioner then swings a razor sharp scimitar freehand to behead the prisoner.

For thieves, the punishment is to have a hand cut off.

Trust me, you don't want to get caught picking your nose in public in Saudi Arabia.

The ideology of ISIS is an offshot of saudi Wahabism. It was invented by a saudi cleric. For a Wahabite to join the exremist version of Islam preached by ISIS, it's just a tiny step.

ISIS is collapsing. From Syria it's just a short track southwards through western Iraq to the border with Saudi-Arabia. Just a few hundred kilometers. With a good car and enough gas you can do that in a day.

A member of ISIS will have no problem blending in in Saudi-Arabia. And who rules Saudi-Arabia? A corrupt, decadent kingdom that has allied itself with the Great Satan America.

Shaking my head.

How come we keep supporting these thugs who are undemocratic, extreme fanatics and terrorism sponsors?

If we don't support them, then Russia and/or China will reap the oil.

If all they had was sand, they'd be like Yemen or Somalia - no support from anyone.
