In 2009, right after your 8-year illegal prezeldent left office. I've been working my ass off and paying the bills, but it's no million dollar success story. A lot of people who want and need my services just can't pay for them, and I charge a very reasonable rate.

I offered great services, charged very, very little, but discovered due to the kind of work I was doing that my clients/customers were earning too little to pay even the lowest price around (which is what I charged) for my services.

It is heartbreaking when you know you are really good, and you know people need your services but you also know that you cannot provide them for what you customers or clients can pay.

Any businessman will tell you how much they value their employees.

You bet they do.

They won't hire you unless you bring more profit to their business
than they pay you. Why would they do otherwise?

You put profit in their business, then you go and buy their product
and put more profit into it.

Then they get government tax breaks.

It is insane not to have your own business. Most people don't understand
that.

Labor is exploited, that's the nature of the system. Everyone should
own some small business of their own as a way of self-preservation,
a profit center for themselves.

How about the millions of hard working men and women who lost their jobs and Congress did absolutely nothing but punted. My late Uncle started his own business right after he came back from being a soldier in WW II and lost the business due to foreign competition.

Also, thanks for freezing the salaries of Federal Employees.

Oh! and by the way small business does not create jobs or wealth, it is or was large corporations who do not exist anymore like the Steel Industry or Ship Builders.

My advice for this Labor Day Holiday and when Congress returns to Washington DC you actually do something positive for every United States Citizen out of work and pass a real Jobs Bill and drop the word NO.

Got to hell, you scumsucker.

Nobody earns their own success. They earn it on the backs of everyone who has come before them. Those who build the roads, serve the coffee, build the buildings, work in emergency rooms, type the memos, all those things people like Cantor refuse to do.

we've never gotten shit for "help".

The help that we need, is protections from the Banksters and CC companies. Those fees! We actually have no problem with a business license or property taxes. Those big, bad regulations from the Feds? Hell, what bad regulations?!? Oh, I guess the Bullies mean the rules that try to prevent employees from losing a hand in a cutting machine! Gee...ain't those some horrible rules!

We've closed two locations, primarily because of the massive rent increases from the landlords. Would they work with us? Hell NO! At least we can laugh that one sat empty over a year and the other is STILL empty after about 1.75 years! FU to both of those bastards.

EVERYTHING has gone up in cost...power, phones, supplies and stock we need to produce, CC processing fees, bank fees...BUT what hasn't really changed are the payroll tax type stuff. Actually Jerry Brown here in CA just got a Workers Comp change through that we are hopeful will lower our premiums...thank you Jerry!

We just wish, that when the SS tax for the employees was reduced, that they would have done the same for the employers...that would have given us, the owners, a break.

Pinhead Cantor? STFU! You've not done SHIT for us!

p.s...all that small business crap. The Bully and Bagger Party hasn't a clue. If you are a business that clears $250,000/year OR has 50, 60, 70 employees, you are NOT a "small" business. Period. Small business is the husband and wife owning and working a sandwich shop...or the husband and wife in our area that, with a couple of employees have a pizza parlor. We have 4 employees...we are damned small.

GOPathetics and Baggers...you don't know what the hell you are spewing about...it's all lies.

The people that built that building you work in, the people that clean up that smelly shit hole of an office for you, the people that make and serve food the cafeteria, the people that drive you around, the people that protect you with security, and many other thousands yiou come in contact with on a daily basis,.....those are the people that Labor was founded on. That learn some history.

I'm afraid that's not even close, Eric. We are celebrating LABOR DAY, not 1% day you dumbass! You see, you lackey, workers actually WORK and their labor makes $$$ for the fat cats, you looser, you are not even close to correct. One might think that you foamed on just to kissass of your money boys. That's even worse, much worse, than being very wrong. Labor Day honors those who took risks (organizing for decent pay and conditions), worked hard (in backbreaking industries for the most part), built a business (if the workers don't make it, you ain't selling it), and earned their own success (Wagner Act, National Labor Relations Act, a slew of court decisions, better pay, benefits, conditions, etc.). Cheers to Eric for getting it right even if he didn't know it.
