Trump: We're Not Going to Be 'Played Like a Fiddle' By North Korea Like Past Administrations

Source: Mediate

by Chris Riotta | 1:05 pm, April 27th, 2018

President Donald Trump told reporters on Friday his White House administration was in “total touch” with South Korean counterparts and North Korean officials ahead of a summit he plans to attend with the regime’s leader, Kim Jong Un, saying “we’ll be setting up a meeting very shortly.”

“We’ll see what happens, but hopefully we’ll have great success,” he said. The president, whose previously said his goal in the ongoing discussions is for North Korea to agree to give up its nuclear capabilities, then attacked past administrations for being played “like a fiddle” by North Korea.

“The United States has been played beautifully, like a fiddle, because you had a different kind of a leader,” Trump said. “We’re not going to be played, okay? We’re going to hopefully make a deal. If we don’t, that’s fine. The United States in the past was played like a fiddle.”

Meanwhile, the president on Friday maintained a stance regarding the upcoming talks that he’s repeatedly told the media: If it doesn’t go his way, he’s walking out. “We will, I think, come up with a solution,” Trump said. “And if we don’t, we leave the room. With great respect we leave the room and keep it going.”

He has claimed that North Korea has agreed to denuclearize (they haven't), and what they have agreed to is only b/c their testing site is collapsing and they couldn't do more tests at the moment even if they wanted to.

They offered something that was going to happen anyway, and Trump not only thought he'd won a boon, he claimed it was the whole enchilada. Dumbass!

"Mr. Trump, the State Security Department has studied you."

'They saw I'm the greatest president America has ever had.'

"No...let's see here...you went bankrupt in the casino industry...you went bankrupt in the mail-order steak industry...you have been sued by the people you swindled over 300 times...you almost lost a $150 million resort over an unpaid $30,000 bill...you tried selling vodka when you don't drink, and failed because it was grossly overpriced...you fell flat on your face selling ten-dollar ties for $50...you lost the election in 2016 but somehow got put in the White House anyway...and you make up cutesy nicknames for your enemies...Mr. Trump, exactly why should we care about anything you have to say?"

And took the wind out of trumps sails by using diplomacy with the South Korean leader to reach this agreement, and prevent his involvement. So, he'll claim something to undermine it unless he gets more attention for doing nothing. This was trump's PR plan, and Kim did a workaround to him. The South Korean leader deserves a lot of the credit for this, not trump. They both didn't want him around knowing he'd try to sabotage this agreement, and he would of, and still may try to do that to it. trump did nothing but create a dangerous situation they stopped from continuing, not trump. trumps still trying to create more chaos, anywhere he can.

So much for trump's "art of the deal." Recent experience shows how easily he can be bought off.
