Several White House medical unit staffers describe pressure to hand out meds

Source: CNN

By MJ Lee and Juana Summers, CNN

Updated 1143 GMT (1943 HKT) April 27, 2018

Washington (CNN) - The White House medical unit frequently functioned as a "grab and go" clinic where mid-level staffers to the most senior officials could obtain prescription drugs without being examined by a doctor, casually pick up the powerful sleeping aid Ambien even for their children, and get drugs that were not prescribed to the person actually taking the medication.

These examples, described to CNN by five of the medical unit's former and current employees and which appear to represent the more problematic practices there, were endorsed by Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson, a doctor.

Jackson withdrew his nomination to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs Thursday morning in response to an avalanche of allegations of questionable behavior. But the 50-year-old US Navy rear admiral remains President Donald Trump's physician and the head of an office that treats the first family, Vice President Mike Pence, members of the Trump Cabinet and other senior government officials.

The allegations shine light on a little-known office on White House grounds skirting some of the most basic medical protocols for years, including under former President Barack Obama. The medical unit serves some White House staffers who work around the clock on high-stakes issues and are unable to easily access their own personal physicians for ailments.

Likely he's just asking for amphetamines, like his role model.

4. Excuse me but what the flying fuck........................

as a Airframe and Powerplant Technician working on aircraft, I was subject mind you to being drug tested at will to work or be around aircraft....................and when I did get drug tested which was random, I had to inform the individual requesting the test, what medication I was taking ............why, to make sure that I could be taking it legally and would not impair my function to keep the flying public safe, and also to abide by the rule of law set forth by Congress and had a legal prescription ......................

So we have the flying fucks over near or in the white house , think that medical department and the entire white house and its staff is nothing more than a candyman outlet for drugs, just like on some street corner, without taking a urine test, no prescription to be issued by a physician to patient relationship to cure an aliment, and to just make sure that they are not using drugs illegally and there was some form of record, nope not there its a free fall all, to just walk right on in and just get what you need to make it through the fucking day........................to serve and protect the country.............. and this is the same white house that use to scream about drugs being smuggled across the border and the crises in the opioids .................
Its like the old saying don't do what I say do as I do...............

Has anyone ever notice the orange hair, sexual predator sometimes always trying to inhale through his nose when he speaks like he has a runny nose, like someone that snorts drugs up there nose................has he taken a drug test, after all he takes his tiny thumbs and has them on the button of destruction, when he dials, and if I had to be forced to take a drug test because I did work in afield that was in some cases national security what makes him and everyone of these flying fucks so special.............Fuck this shit............most people that get busted for having drugs without a prescription get thrown in jail........and charged

snorting amphetamines or adderall. In his head, it's "legal".

My husband is subjected to the same drug tests and rules you are. Take an antihistamine by mistake? Oops, must call the medical office, and have to call in sick. My husband recently had to take rx antihistamines, and he basically was forced to only take them only on his days off.

I'd also like to know who in the hell gives their kids ambien!

When I was in the Peace Corps in West Africa, they gave us medical kits that included prescription meds.

For them it's a matter of being prepared. But what the absolute hell are politicians doing getting drug handouts?

THEY HAVE FREE HEALTHCARE AND CAN SEE ANY DOCTOR THEY WANT. THERE SHOULD NOT BE A PHARMACY IN GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS.

When I was a police dispatcher, we had to inform our managers if we took simple cold medicine. After having major dental surgery, I had to take unpaid time off because I was using Vicodin for the post-op pain. I actually got in trouble for that unpaid leave.

Compare and contrast with people who are running a country while being dosed up with who-knows-what medications! Jesus tapdancing Christ! This administration is such a dumpster fire it's absurd.

Him. I can’t get Xanax from my dr, he calls it candy, even though I’ve been prescribed it many times before. (My psych dr). They don’t give this stuff out like they used to.
