GOP Rep. Calls For Imprisonment of Clinton, Comey, McCabe, Loretta Lynch: 'Lock Them Up!'

We’ve covered the trials and tribulations of GOP Rep. Claudia Tenney before: The New York Republican has made a name for herself getting into confrontations with reporters, while accusing Democrats of being “unpatriotic” mass shooters.

And now, in an email to supporters, Tenney is calling for the imprisonment of a series of Republican boogeymen: failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, fired FBI Director James Comey, fired Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, as well as now-famed FBI lovers Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.

Tenney was one of 11 House Republicans who signed a letter requesting the Justice Department and the FBI to launch an investigation into these characters for their actions during the 2016 election. The allegations leveled against these foes are varied: Clinton for the Fusion GPS dossier, Comey for not adequately prosecuting Clinton, McCabe for his “lack of candor,” Lynch for the “Uranium One” controversy. But Tenney’s email goes a step beyond allegations, asking supporters to sign a petition in favor of the investigation by pressing a large red button blaring “ADD YOUR NAME: Lock Them Up!”

“I hope that AG Jeff Sessions will take our recommendations seriously,” Tenney’s email adds.

The Fusion GPS dossier was originally ordered by a republican client, presumably one of Trump's primary-opponents. (Rumor has it it was either Jeb or Ted Cruz.) The republican client then lost interest and the dossier was put on hold. Then the Democrats tasked Fusion GPS with finding dirt on Trump and Fusion GPS continued working on it. How dow we know? Fusion GPS said so.

"Lack of candor" is a fireable offence in the FBI, not a criminal offence.

The Uranium One deal was scrutinized and signed off by a dozen departments.
