Fox News poll: Majority think Mueller will find Trump committed criminal or impeachable offenses
Source: The Hill
A Fox News poll released Wednesday reported that a majority of Americans believe that special counsel Robert Mueller will find that President Trump committed criminal or impeachable offenses.
Fifty-six of respondents in the poll said they believed Muellers probe will find that Trump committed the offenses. And 67 percent say they believe its at least somewhat important that Muellers investigation continues.
However, 71 percent said they think that Trump will fire Mueller before the probe is over.
Democrats polled were far more likely than Republicans to predict Mueller would find Trump committed such offenses, at 85 to 22 percent. But a majority of both Democrats and Republicans expected Mueller to be fired, at 82 percent of Democrats to 61 percent of Republicans.

(7,153 posts)So far there has been no alleged linkage to Trump himself.
It is unknown as this point whether he merely was the beneficiary of attempted meddling, knew-and-approved of it, or directed at least some of it.
There are allegations that:
"Mercer's" Cambridge Analytica, once it started backing Trump, used Facebook data to influence voters about the 2016 election. Same as most super-PAC activity. The difference is that ((in my opinion)) obtaining and using the FB data was immoral, unethical- but I don't believe the US has laws against doing that.
Russian-supported hackers used social media to pose as Americans and broadcast messages aimed at influencing American voters.
Various members of Trump's campaign either attempted to, or did, link to persons with links to the Russian elite. Currently, the most prominent case is Manafort, who previously had links to pro-Russia Ukraine politicians. Somehow, criticism of Russia disappeared from the Ukraine plank of the party platform. His associate Gates is said to have met with one of those persons during the campaign. This was after Roger Stone (part of Manafort's original firm) indicated that WikiLeaks would dump on HRC, but before WikiLeaks did so.
Michael Cohen, Trump's fixer, is also thought to have at least one link to someone linked to the Russians.
More may be forthcoming.

(14,179 posts)The majority thinks he did something wrong, or at least would be charged.
But the majority also thinks this person who is guilty will fire the authority that would find him guilty.
Yet Republicans refuse to pass a bill to protect Mueller.
