Tired of being told no, Trump freezes out chief of staff

Source: Associated Press

WASHINGTON (AP) — When President Donald Trump made a congratulatory phone call to Russian leader Vladimir Putin, White House chief of staff John Kelly wasn’t on the line.

When Trump tapped John Bolton to be his next national security adviser, Kelly wasn’t in the room.

And when Trump spent a Mar-a-Lago weekend stewing over immigration and trade, Kelly wasn’t in sight.

Kelly, once empowered to bring order to a turbulent West Wing, has receded from view, his clout diminished, his word less trusted by staff and his guidance less tolerated by an increasingly go-it-alone president.

Trump - unencumbered by strategists, advisors, aides, and people who actually know what they're doing - is now on an unbridled full-tilt gallop toward crazy town. Of course Trump thinks he's learned everything there is to know about our government, and as far as trade wars, real wars, and every other subject under the sun, he already knew more than anyone else alive.

An unbridled lunatic, with the nuclear football by his side, is now in charge of our country. Sleep well everyone!

the powers that be in Congress may finally be forced to remove him. The tariff talk and other assorted craziness isn't going over well with the corporate crowed and those are the people who own Rethuglican congress critters, not Dump. He was useful idiot to the business community, but is becoming less and less useful.

He'll just make it easier to get both the House and the Senate from his damaging behavior, and idiotic false claims and policies he'll now promote, while he destroys health care, Social Security, and the economy. The bad thing is we may be looking at the start of another recession , or worse from him.

so he has a second son to lose, plus a daughter who lives in the DC area and could be lost in a strike there. Don't know about grandchildren. Even if deaths in family are not likely, General Kelly has to be all too aware of what kind of fire Trump is playing with.

One of my fears has been that people like Kelly would be able to reign in dumpster and thus legitimize this admin and drag out the process of removal. The worst thing for Dump is simply being himself. It will be painful short term, but it will speed his demise. The corporate / biz class is already growing very tired of the "useful idiot." I'm sure they've made their assets in congress well aware of their displeasure.
