Mavs Owner Mark Cuban Was Investigated for Sexual Assault in 2011
Source: The Daily Beast
Fuck me! Im so fucked, was how the billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks, Mark Cuban, reacted when he was told of an sexual-assault allegation made against him in 2011. According to a police transcript obtained by Oregons Willamette Week, Cuban was investigated after a woman told police that he assaulted her while they posed for a photograph together in a bar in Portland. The woman, who Willamette Week is not naming, told police that the billionaire forced his hand down the back of her jeans and penetrated her vagina with his fingera claim that Cuban denied. Charges were never filed due to a lack of witnesses and physical evidence. I filed the report because what he did was wrong, the woman told the Willamette Week after it obtained the police transcript: I stand behind that report 1,000 percent. The leaked transcript emerged just two weeks after a damning report from Sports Illustrated in which more than a dozen current and former Mavs employees made allegations of a toxic work environment at the NBA team, ranging from sexual harassment to domestic violence.
READ IT AT WILLAMETTE WEEK

I'm female and inclined to believe allegations. But this one doesn't ring true. For one thing...it's WAY EASY to prevent someone from doing what she says Cuban did. (Don't ask me how I know!) So with that, plus there's only one allegation, plus he mingles with many people, plus he's very rich with deep pockets...all that leads me to regard the allegation suspiciously. It's possible it's true, but I don't think so. The police investigated.

(21,646 posts)adversaries. Make his life miserable that's how trump likesto play Remember thier headlines that Cruz had a full string of mistresses right before the nomination
As much as I distain Cruz, I knew that was trump and his rag mag buds. There was nothing real to it just bring him down with bad press, and made some more evangelicals decide on trump . Then a bad picture of his wife next Trumps just so low he goes
Cuban should know trump will revel in this stuff.
If trump wants to run like that this time he should go back to his wrestling stunts and trash talk there from the ring for cable news
Bad news on Romoney is trump is not going to be able to characterize him much as it's all out there anyway, so he has to find some other foil . Nicknames seem to work with a certain populace.

(9,696 posts)it's weird, to say the least. Maybe possible, I don't know. Like you, I am inclided to consider allegations as true, but still, this one is odd.

Nah, sounds like a money play from a known billionaire.
I don't think it happened either.

Doesn't sound right to me either.
