Nerves fray as shutdown talks at impasse

Source: The Hill

Talks between Senate Democratic Leader Charles Schumer (N.Y.) and congressional Republican leaders have broken down, raising anxieties among lawmakers on both sides of the aisle about finding a way to end the government shutdown.

Schumer had not spoken to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) or Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) as of 8 p.m. Saturday evening, the shutdowns first day.

Neither side showed any signs of backing down when the Senate adjourned Saturday evening without a deal in sight.

While both sides are furiously playing the blame game, McConnell thinks he has the upper hand and plans to raise pressure on Democrats by forcing votes on resolutions to reopen the government.

AS the turtle tries to reinforce the right wing message, the turtle said this little tidbit of right wing BS on the message of getting advice:

"I think our friends on the other side took some bad advice, really bad advice. I would hate to have to be trying to explain this myself, he added."

My democratic response to your remark turtle to this partial shut down, explain these points and how you got your advice:

Strike one

Strike two turtle the deportation of human beings:

This is more than about helping human beings like 200,000 El Salvadorans that might be sent to Qatar, which doesn't have austere record when it comes to labor and human beings having there passports confiscated turtle, did you think of that turtle............

Strike three turtle,

Just because your an asshole and so is the Paul "ayn rand" Ryan asshole

7. If you have a majority in both the House and Senate

and yet you can't pass a resolution along party lines then you suck at your job and your Party's broken.

10. Senator Schumer should do nothing. Who is in charge here? Make the Republicans negotiate.

Force unto others as they have forced unto you. Karma is a bitch.
