President Trump lashed out at the news media on Wednesday for what he said was demeaning coverage of Republicans' tax code overhaul.

Trump's tweet came after the Senate approved a sweeping rewrite of the nation's tax code in a party-line vote early Wednesday. The House, which passed the measure on Tuesday, is set to vote again later Wednesday after a few last-minute changes in the Senate-approved bill.
House Republicans are expected to pass the bill once again on Wednesday. A successful vote in the chamber sending the legislation to Trumps desk by Christmas would mark the partys first major legislative victory of his presidency.
The tax code rewrite would offer deep, permanent cuts to the corporate tax rate, which would drop from 35 percent to 21 percent, and would deliver more modest, temporary cuts to individual tax rates. The proposal also does away with or limits many tax breaks, including the State and Local Tax deduction.

(9,897 posts)FUCK YOU.
I hope you die of a massive brain embolism in the middle of spiking the football on this disastrous heist you and your cronies pulled off on the American people. You are human refuse and deserve to die gasping for air and clutching your chest in the very, very near future.
I only wish I could watch it happen and prevent paramedics from administering CPR by tripping in front of them.
I hope Satan is real just so that when I end up in "hell" I can watch you get abused by the demons of eternity...they might just have to send me to Christian heaven because "hell" with you would be too damn much fun for me...

(43,393 posts)The only thing every worker will ask is "What is happening?" with this tax bill.
And most all will figure it out. Workers will look to form their own businesses, work less for others, work slower, seek more raises, seek better jobs. Productivity will suffer, causing inflationary pressures.
This legislation effectively de-incentivizes capitalism. Reduced rewards equals less work. Higher taxes equals less work. People are not stupid. They are already figuring it out.

(1,128 posts)and every other program that benefits society and the common good. If they can restrain their giddiness and naturally vile tendencies, they'd wait until after the 2018 mid-terms to proceed with destroying the Social Security and Medicare programs. To do otherwise might cost them control of one or both houses. So far it's been a brilliant execution of something that they've fantasized about for decades.
