This anonymous Maine news site may have tipped a big election

Source: Bangor Daily News

LEWISTON, Maine — As he greeted voters at Longley Elementary School, Ben Chin was hearing all about his emails as Lewiston residents walked out of the polling place during last week’s mayoral runoff election, but it was too late.

The progressive activist lost by 145 votes to Mayor-elect Shane Bouchard, a Republican, after he was rocked during the last nine days of the race by seven stories from a new website that caught fire on social media with help from the Maine Republican Party.

One Maine Examiner headline said “Leaked Email: Ben Chin Says Lewiston Voters ‘Bunch of Racists’” and featured an email apparently forwarded out of his campaign. In it, Chin describes a day of canvassing when he had positive interactions but also ran into “a bunch of racists.”

On Election Day, a middle-aged man leaving the polls said goodbye to Bouchard. To Chin, he said “not a racist” and refused to talk to a reporter.

puke operative infiltrated Chin's campaign?

I wouldn't be surprised if pukes get operatives inside every Dem campaign. After all, they have endless $$$$$$$$$$ from the kook brothers and others of their ilk, to continue taking over our government at every level.

Oh, and I'll bet Chin's remarks were 100% fact. Some people can't take the truth.

Reading, and comprehension skills. . Apparently too many adults have been left behind. Having a prez who never reads doesn’t help. People need an education in how to evaluate sources.

I found out about one when I visited my mother for Thanksgiving, who lives near Poughkeepsie NY. There's some new publication that wasn't around last year that's a local version of Breitbart.

Edit: They're not new! They've been around for decades & are just having a renaissance in the age of hate. This is the same publication that pushed the Tawana Brawley bullshit back in 1988!

14. Repubs pride themselves on pulling dirty tricks, they learn it at a young age

I'd read a while back about a 'young repub' group at a college. It seems that a campus civic organization had reserved several school vans for election day so they could shuttle people to vote who had no other means of transportation. The 'young repubs' got the vans the day before the election and hid them somewhere off campus so they couldn't be used to take disadvantaged people to vote.

The only way repubs retain power is through lying and cheating.
