Ron Reagan: Trump is deeply damaged human being

Source: The Hill

The son of former President Ronald Reagan on Wednesday took aim at President Trump, questioning his fitness for office.

"Donald Trump is a deeply damaged human being," Ron Reagan said on MSNBC's "Hardball with Chris Matthews."

Reagan, a radio host and MSNBC contributor, went so far as to also call the commander in chief a "sociopathic, malignant narcissist."

Reagan compared Trump to a stain in a carpet, arguing that the president must be removed.

"[T]he electoral college has sort of vomited this thing up and it landed in the Oval Office. And it needs to be removed. It's a stain. It's a big glob on the carpet there. It needs to be removed. And that means impeachment or the 25th Amendment. This man is a danger to the world," he continued.

10. Junior is one of the few good things to come from Reagan.

Whenever I read something, or hear Ron, Jr. speak, it's hard to believe he's the offspring of the original dotard. Sometimes, the Bush twins make me scratch my head in the same way, but then I realize that they were likely Laura's doing, more than their dad and the rest of that awful family. I don't know how Ron, Jr. turned out the way he did, considering both his parents.

4. Trump is way beyond Reagan, and I hated his Presidency.

But I didn't wake up every morning after his inauguration to see if his Presidency was over or if he'd dropped some nuclear bombs.

5. I check to see if this has happened several times a day. I'm even having nightmares about it.

I'm scared that these nightmares are premonitions. I've had them before about horrible events in my life.

I had all the same nightmares upon Reagan's inauguration, including experiencing nuclear Armageddon. I never had them growing up, and I was a kid in the 1960s. But, I had them when I got to college. I'm sure it didn't help that we were being deluged with movies and miniseries like "The Day After", and movies like those out of the "Mad Max" series. Post-apocalyptic Hollywood was in its heyday during the Reagan Error. So, I know I wasn't alone in having those fears. Just watch the end of Genesis' "Land of Confusion" music video. Everyone was scared shitless. But, yeah. This is definitely Reagan on steroids, with an overdose of meth thrown in.

12. Reagan was affected by The Day After.

He apparently saw the movie and was horrified. He committed himself immediately to working with the Soviets on nuclear arms reduction and reducing the threat of nuclear war.

Compare that to the orange menace, who is absolutely ineducable on any subject.

I always thought Reagan and Bush were bad Presidents. But I never imagined Trump. I would gladly put Bush and Cheney back in the White House. I would personally dig up Reagan and electroshock his heart back beating to get him to be President again. Anybody but the damaged and dangerous person Trump is. Good job Ron Reagan. Trump is a stain that needs to be removed.
